My dream job đŸŽ¶đŸŽ

Through the years I’ve changing my dream job. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a “puppy doctor” ( a veterinary) because I love puppies. Then, I wanted to be a violinist, and then, a music teacher. It wasn’t till I started the university that I realized that I actually didn't wanted to be a teacher, what I really wanted was to live from art, to live making music. And when I started studying lyric singing I realized that there is a kind of art that mixes all of the arts I like: OPERA.

To me, being an opera singer is the most wonderful job. I have to sing, act, sometimes dance too and I have to wear all those beautiful costumes from different ages. Also, I would love to sing in all of those beautiful theaters with beautiful stages all around the world. Great musicians have the opportunity of travel around the world thanks to the music, and I think that is very valuable and wonderful, so I want that for me too. I know that this career is very competitive and lonely, but even with all the troubles and “bad things”, I think that’s my dream job.

When I finish college, I would like to study in an opera studio. That gives many opportunities for young singers to make themselves known and start working.

I can picture myself singing in the “Palais Garnier” of Paris, or the “Scala” of Milan all of my dream roles with great singers. Maybe I will never become a soloist, because first of all I have to be a great musician and have a big voice so it can pass the choir and orchestra (and I don’t have it), but even if I can sing from the choir, it would be a dream come true.

I actually have no idea of how much singers get paid, all I know is that it depends of the theater, the role you’re singing and how good (and famous) as a singer you are.

Soooo that’s it. Thanks for reading! Byeeee
